Qijco Repair is a classified ad platform for connecting individuals and professionals for all repair service needs in the fields of hardware, gardening, construction, and tools.
As such, it offers a matchmaking service to allow individuals and professionals to offer and request services.
4- DEFINITIONS
· Qijco Repair is the platform intended for users seeking to connect for various works and repairs related to different sectors of hardware, gardening, construction, and tools.
· The platform refers to Qijco Repair and its associated services accessible from the website : www.qijcorepair.com.
· The service refers to the platform.
· “ToU” refers to these Terms of Use.
· “GTS” refers to the General Terms of Sale.
· Visitor refers to any non-registered individual on the platform who may use our site without having to register, in accordance with the Terms of Use.
· User refers to any individual who uses the platform, whether private or professional.
· Private individual refers to any individual registering on the platform.
· Professional refers to any entity, individual, or business subject to VAT, registering on the platform.
· Buyer refers to the user who purchases the service on the platform.
· Seller refers to the user who lists a service for sale on the platform.
· Provider refers to the user who offers services for sale.
· Client refers to the user who purchases and makes a reservation with a provider.
· Ad refers to any publication by a user on the platform.
· Transaction is the completion of the sale or rental through a payment.
· Stripe is a secure payment service provider that facilitates and secures transactions.
· Content refers to text, images, or other information that may be posted, uploaded, linked, or otherwise made available by you, regardless of the form of such content.

6- USER ACCOUNT
Before anything else, please note that although our platform is mainly national, it remains accessible on a European and international scale when you access our site from another country.
The specific terms of use for each country, as well as local privacy policies and regulations, always apply.
It is also important to note that using our service from abroad may result in additional fees.
We reserve the right to limit access to our platform for users identified outside the EU.
6.1 Registration and account creation
The platform is exclusively intended for use by any individual who has reached the age of 18, or is authorized by a legal representative, or administrator of the person and/or property in order to have access to the platform and become a full user of the platform.
Registrations made by minors are strictly prohibited. By accessing, using, or registering on the Qijco Repair platform, you confirm and certify that you are 18 years of age or older.
The platform allows users to view and post ads in the fields of hardware, gardening, construction, and tools.
Viewing ads is free and does not require registration. However, posting an ad or committing to a purchase or rental requires the prior creation of an account.
To create an account, you have the following options:

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. Failure to comply with this requirement constitutes a breach of the terms, which may result in the immediate termination of your account.
To register on the platform, you must first read and check the acceptance of these Terms of Use and the privacy policy.
Once this step is completed, the user will have access to the Qijco Repair platform.
You may not use as a username the name of another person or entity that is not legally available for use other than by you without proper authorization, or a name that is otherwise offensive, vulgar, or obscene.
6.2 Account review
We do not conduct background checks.
We therefore disclaim any responsibility for the reliability, accuracy, and completeness of the information provided by users.
However, to ensure transparency, trust, and prevent fraud, we may ask you to provide supporting documents for identity verification in case of doubt.
Additionally, if a client or provider wishes to upload their identity card for verification in order to obtain the "ID Verified" badge, we reserve the right to verify the authenticity of this document before granting them this badge.
6.3 Account password
If registering by email, you are responsible for protecting the password you use to access the service and for any activity or action under your password, whether your password is linked to our service or a third-party social media service.
You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must immediately notify Qijco Repair upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account at the following email address: contact@qijcorepair.com.
6.4 Account termination
Any reproduction, representation, publication, transmission, use, or modification, extraction, of all or part of the elements, in any way whatsoever, made without the prior written authorization of Qijco Repair is illegal.
These illegal acts engage the responsibility of the user and may lead to legal proceedings against them, including for counterfeiting.
The user may not open more than one account on the platform and may not open an account in the name of a third party.
Accordingly, the user agrees to respect the rights of third parties as well as the laws in force. They also agree not to use the website www.qijcorepair.com for illegal purposes, not to present behavior contrary to Qijco Repair, the regulations, laws in force, and good morals.
The photos, information, and data submitted by the user must be accurate and only relate to the property itself.
The user must not in any way hinder the proper functioning of the Qijco Repair platform services under penalty of legal action. The Qijco Repair platform reserves the right to delete the user’s account(s) if they do not comply with these Terms of Use, without any compensation or refund, if they do not respect the aforementioned terms.
We may terminate or suspend your user account immediately, without prior notice or refund, for any reason, if you violate these General Terms of Use. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.
If you wish to terminate your account, you can simply stop using the service or delete your account from the service, or contact us for assistance.
7- REVIEW SYSTEM
After posting an ad and once the transaction is effective and completed, the user has the opportunity to leave a review regarding the sale and/or purchase of the service. We strongly encourage you to do so.
The review left next to the item listed on the Qijco Repair platform must be made in good faith and must only relate to the ad and cannot be written with the intent to harm the person who posted it.
8- CONTENT
8.1 Content Publication
Our service allows you to post content. You are responsible for the content you post on the service, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.
By posting content on the platform, you grant us the right and license to use, modify, perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such content on and through the service. You retain all your rights to any content you submit, post, or display on or through the service and you are responsible for protecting those rights. You agree that this license gives us the right to make your content available to other users of the service.
You represent and warrant that: (1) the content is yours (you own it) or you have the right to use it and grant us the rights and license provided in these terms, and (2) the posting of your content on or through the service does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contractual rights, or any other rights of any person.
8.2 Content Restrictions
Qijco Repair is not responsible for user content. You expressly understand and agree that you are solely responsible for the content and all activities that occur on your account, whether by you or a third party using your account.
You may not transmit any content that is illegal, offensive, upsetting, intended to disgust, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. Examples of such objectionable content include, but are not limited to:
· Illegal or promoting illegal activities.
· Defamatory, discriminatory, or mean content, including references or comments about religion, race, sexual orientation, gender, national/ethnic origin, or other targeted groups.
· Spam, machine- or randomly-generated content, constituting unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, chain letters, any other form of unauthorized solicitation, or any form of lottery or gambling.
· Installing viruses, malware, or any other content designed or intended to disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of any software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment or to damage/obtain unauthorized access to any data or other information of a third party.
· Infringing on the intellectual property rights of a party, including trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights, publicity rights, or other rights.
· Impersonating any person or entity, including Qijco Repair and its employees or representatives.
· Violating the privacy of any third party.
· False information and features.
Qijco Repair reserves the right, but not the obligation, to determine, at its sole discretion, whether any content is appropriate and complies with these General Terms of Use, and to refuse or remove such content. Qijco Repair further reserves the right to make changes and to modify how any content is displayed.
9- PAYMENT TERMS
9.1 Managing transactions with Stripe Connect
To facilitate payments from buyers to sellers, we work with Stripe Connect, a secure and accredited payment service. Stripe Connect collects payments from customers and then distributes them to sellers and buyers. We do not retain any banking data.
9.2 Payment methods
Payments on our platform that are made online offer maximum convenience and enhanced security. To facilitate your future transactions, you have the option to save your payment methods. This feature allows you not to re-enter your payment information for each purchase, thereby simplifying your checkout procedures and saving you time.
The authorized payment methods are the following credit cards:
Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
9.3 Payment relationship
A contractual relationship is established between Stripe Connect, the sellers, and the buyers and Qijco Repair for the management of payments and commissions. Financial transactions between users go directly through Stripe, without intervention from Qijco Repair, which simplifies compliance with regulatory standards and allows us to focus on our core mission.
9.4 Payment compliance
By registering on our platform, you also agree to the terms of Stripe Connect via a separate registration process. It is important to be aware of the terms of Stripe Connect, as Qijco Repair cannot be held responsible for aspects related to the payment process.
9.5 Payment process
Users directly pay Qijco Repair's purchase fees and commissions with their preferred payment method. The general conditions of the financial institution chosen by the buyer apply. Qijco Repair does not intervene in this process and disclaims any responsibility in terms of payment.
9.6 Transaction confirmation
Payment by the buyer is only made when the purchase is confirmed by the seller, either immediately for a direct reservation if the seller confirms by email, or not at all if the request is declined or if the user does not respond. Email confirmation is required to validate the sale, otherwise, it will be automatically canceled without any charge.
The acceptance or refusal period is 3 days.
10- SERVICE FEES
In addition to the price displayed in the ad, a commission for the use of the platform provided by Qijco Repair, referred to as "Service Fees," is added. These fees support the operation, regular maintenance, and continuous improvements of the platform.
When a Qijco Repair user makes a purchase, we apply fixed fees:
- The commission amount corresponds to 5% of the requested or offered service amount (or a minimum of 2.75 euros including VAT).
The details of these service fees are explicitly explained in the "How it works" category of the platform.
These service fees are clearly indicated to buyers when launching or responding to an online sale. If the offer amount is adjusted or modified by one of the providers, the associated service fees will be recalculated accordingly. It is essential to emphasize that any transaction initiated outside the official channels provided by the Qijco Repair site is considered invalid, underscoring the importance of using formal channels to ensure the security and transparency of transactions.
We reserve the right to change our service fees at any time, and we will notify you in advance of any changes to these fees before they take effect. These fee changes will not affect bookings made before the effective date of the modified fees.
We reserve the right to specify, in the future, an additional VAT amount on service fees independent of our commission, in order to comply with tax developments.
11- GENERAL TERMS OF SALE OR “GTS”
The user declares to accept these general terms of sale or “GTS” of the Qijco Repair platform before use and therefore before posting ads on the site.
11.1 Duty of information
As a reminder, the Qijco Repair platform acts solely as an intermediary between users and disclaims any responsibility for the accuracy of the ads posted on the site.
All prices are displayed and include all applicable taxes (VAT).
11.2 Searching for a sale on the platform
Qijco Repair is committed to providing an optimal user experience through an intuitive and simplified search system, designed to efficiently browse the categories and subcategories available on our platform. This search feature is organized by specific categories, allowing users to easily navigate to the areas that interest them the most, such as:
1- Hardware
2- Gardening
3- Construction
4- Tools
Each main category is divided into simplified subcategories, ensuring that users can refine their search without wasting time searching for an overly specific subcategory.
For a more targeted search, use our keyword search feature.
We reserve the right to extend its categories to meet user needs.
11.3 Conducting a sale
Qijco Repair, acting as an intermediary, offers users the opportunity to contact each other by clicking on the “Contact” tab regarding the details of the item for sale or to facilitate their exchanges before concluding the sale.
The seller will immediately receive a notification and can respond to their "future" buyer securely.
If the exchanges are successful, the buyer can click on the "Make an offer" button or "Make a request" and has three days for the seller to respond and validate the sale. During this period, the buyer's bank details are requested but no transaction is made until the sale is confirmed by the seller. The seller then has the option to accept or decline the purchase request. If no response is provided within this three-day period, the purchase request is automatically canceled.
Regarding payment, Qijco Repair is associated with Stripe, a recognized payment service for its security, to manage transactions. This collaboration ensures that payments are made securely and reliably. Qijco Repair neither collects nor stores users' banking information, providing an additional layer of security and trust in the purchasing process.
The sale is deemed to have been agreed upon once these Terms of Use and the privacy policy have been accepted and concluded after completing the transaction related to the item posted by the user.
By accepting these Terms of Use, Qijco Repair informs users that it is strictly forbidden to disclose the publication of any personal contact, including phone numbers, emails, or external links in your interactions on the Qijco Repair platform or in your ads, under penalty of immediate and permanent exclusion from the platform.
11.4 Canceling a sale
11.4.1 Our rights to cancel a sale
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your sale in the event of suspected fraud, unauthorized or illegal transaction, or exchange.
11.4.2 Canceling a sale by the buyer
If, as a buyer, you cancel a sale, the amount paid by the buyer, less the Service Fees, will be refunded. The seller will not receive the amount of this sale.
In case of abuse and too many cancellations, Qijco Repair reserves the right to delete the user's buyer account.
11.4.3 Canceling a sale by the seller
If, as a seller, you cancel a sale, the amount paid by the buyer, including the service fees, will be refunded to the buyer and will not be transferred to the seller.
In case of abuse and too many cancellations, Qijco Repair reserves the right to delete the user's seller account.
11.4.4 Refunds
In case of non-performance of the sale as detailed in points 11.4.2 and 11.4.3 of these "GTS", Qijco Repair commits to refund the original user's transaction within a specified period of 5 to 10 business days.
As previously mentioned, Qijco Repair will deduct service fees from the buyer who canceled a sale.
Qijco Repair assesses at its sole discretion, based on the information available, the legitimacy of refund requests it receives.
11.4.5 Dispute resolution (exclusion of Qijco Repair liability)
As mentioned earlier, Qijco Repair is a platform for connecting users for sales under the "GTS", it cannot provide any guarantee regarding the proper functioning of the item sold.
Qijco Repair does not in any way take responsibility for the security deposit in any form, nor for verifying the exact identity of the owner or tenant.
Qijco Repair is not responsible in any case for any damage or indirect damages caused by the sale causing harm to its user or any cause whatsoever, or for indirect damages such as loss, breach of trust, or any other cause whatsoever.
Qijco Repair disclaims all liability in the event of any disagreements or disputes between the seller and the buyer.
12- DAC7 DIRECTIVE FOR DIGITAL PLATFORMS
At Qijco Repair, we inform you of recent European tax directives.
Since January 1, 2023, a new European directive called DAC7 has come into effect, impacting all online platforms, including Qijco Repair.
In accordance with DAC7, we are now required to collect information on our users and submit it to the Belgian tax administration. You will be asked to provide additional data if you meet one of the following criteria during the calendar year:
1- You have completed 30 services per year or more.
OR
2- You have generated more than 2000 € in income per year.
The data required varies depending on your status:
1- For individual users: Name, address, date of birth, national register number.
2- For professional users: Company name, main address, Belgian business number, VAT number, trade register, explanation regarding the existence of a fixed establishment within the EU.
It is important to note that even if you have to complete a report due to one of these criteria, this does not change your tax situation. Submitting a DAC7 declaration does not alter your tax obligations.
13- DIGITAL MARKETS ACT (DMA) AND DIGITAL SERVICES ACT (DSA) REGULATIONS

14- GENERAL CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION
Qijco Repair acts as an intermediary. As mentioned earlier, it is a platform for connecting users, hosting ads posted online by users.
Qijco Repair does not guarantee in any way the truthfulness, quality, or honesty of the content and information posted online by all users.
However, Qijco Repair reserves the right to modify, delete, or remove any content that is contrary to public order and/or that would violate the terms of these "GTS" or "ToU".
Consequently, any user who would communicate false information related to their ad will be solely responsible for the damage caused.
This person therefore waives any recourse against Qijco Repair.
Qijco Repair strives, as far as possible, to keep the platform accessible 7 days a week. However, access to the platform may be temporarily suspended, without notice, due to technical maintenance, migration, updates, or due to failures or constraints related to the operation of networks.
Qijco Repair cannot be held responsible for any malfunction, inability to access, misuse, or any cause beyond its control.
Additionally, Qijco Repair reserves the right to modify or interrupt, at its sole discretion, temporarily or permanently, all or part of the access to the platform or its features.
15- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All the elements constituting the website www.qijco.be are the exclusive intellectual property of the company.
This concerns in particular the brand, texts, logo, and photographs.
Without the express authorization of the company, it is strictly forbidden to reproduce, distribute, exploit, or use, data, computer code from the website Qijcorepair.com, under penalty of legal proceedings.
The usage rights granted by Qijco Repair to users are access to sales/rental offers and posting offers, to use this information for private and personal use related to the duration of the subscription to the platform.
The user agrees not to make any other use of the site without authorization from Qijco Repair.
16- APPLICABLE LAW
Only Belgian courts have jurisdiction to judge any dispute related to these Terms of Use, as well as their validity, interpretation, execution, and/or termination and its consequences. This list is not exhaustive.
17- MODIFICATION OF TERMS OF USE
Qijco Repair reserves the right to modify these general terms of use at any time.
Qijco Repair will immediately notify the user, who must accept the changes made by the platform for them to be binding.
In case of refusal, the user may terminate their account directly and stop using the platform via their account settings or by notifying Qijco Repair by email at the following address: contact@qijcorepair.com.
18- PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
Qijco Repair informs that the user who has provided personal data will be used for exclusively technical, proper administration and commercial purposes within the framework of the services offered by Qijco Repair.
Qijco Repair informs that these data may be transmitted to certain public bodies for which Qijco Repair would be obliged to respond to any judicial, administrative, or other request. These data will only be kept for a period not exceeding what is necessary for the purposes.
By accepting these “GTS” and “ToU,” the user gives their consent to the use of their personal data by Qijco Repair and any public bodies in the event of a request.
The user is obliged to inform Qijco Repair of the information relating to their personal data, and that refusal will prevent access to the platform.
In accordance with the GDPR, the user has the right to access, rectify, and object for legitimate reasons to the personal information concerning them, which they can exercise by simple request to the following email address: contact@qijcorepair.com.
